Tuition

Tuition for the entire course in 2012 is: $660.
That includes:

• 30 hours of classroom instruction
• 12 hours behind the wheel
• 6 hours of observing other students driving
• 2 hour required parents' class
• Driver Education Certification

There are two ways to determine your tuition:

1. Pay $660, no deposit required. $340 is due the 1st week of class and $320 on or before the 7th driving lesson.
2. Secure a seat at least 30 days in advance by paying a non-refundable deposit of $40. The balance due after deposit is $590, for a total of $630.
   $295 due the 1st week of class & $295 on or before the 7th driving lesson

Separately
Classroom only	$225.
On Road Only (18 hours)	$560.
Parents’ Class	$30.
Driver Education Certificate	$20.

Additional Fees
Saturday or Sunday Road test in Amherst	$60.
(Includes a $20. CONVENIENCE FEE paid to the MASS DOT on your behalf) *This fee is due to PVDS 2 weeks before your test date.
Private Lessons	$60.
Road Tests at DOT in Easthampton	Hourly Rate
Appointments missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice	$20.
Fees to MASS DOT	$70.
($20 is for your road test and $50 is for you license for 5 years) **Prepay this fee by credit card a week before the road test and your permit will convert to a license when you pass your test. Your official license will come by mail. (Call 617-351-4500)
